Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) emerges as a crucial contributor, automating information exchange and reducing lead times. The study emphasizes the importance of robust e-procurement systems, advanced EDI capabilities, and a digitally adept workforce. Recommendations include continuous staff training, exploration of advanced technologies, supplier collaboration, and considerations for environmental sustainability.
