Abstract

Digital preservation technologies have become indispensable tools in safeguarding and promoting traditional arts in today's digital age. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the various digital preservation technologies employed for the conservation, documentation, and dissemination of traditional arts. Beginning with an exploration of the challenges faced by traditional arts in the digital era, the paper delves into the theoretical foundations of digital preservation and its significance in the context of cultural heritage in Sri Lanka.
