    Abstract
    India got its independence in 1947. However, India’s Armed Forces were organized and operational well before this, having fought in the 1st World War & the 2nd World War. This gave the Indian Army a high level of professionalism. Military Professionalism was defined by Samuel Huntington in 1957 to comprise of three main components:-
