The proliferation of digital technologies has transformed the entrepreneurial landscape, underscoring the need for tertiary institutions to equip students with relevant skills to thrive in the e-economy. This correlational study examined the relationship between entrepreneurship trends and the e-economy among business education students in two public universities in Kwara State, Nigeria. A sample of 269 students was selected using a purposeful sampling technique, and data were collected using a validated questionnaire. The results, analyzed using descriptive statistics with SPSS, revealed a significant positive relationship between social commerce and the e-economy (grand mean score = 2.72). In contrast, mobile commerce exhibited a weak relationship (grand mean score = 2.43). The study's findings imply that social commerce is a driving force behind the e-economy, while mobile commerce has untapped potential. The study's insights have significant implications for entrepreneurship education and policy, highlighting the need to harness digital trends to foster economic growth. To leverage these trends, it is recommended that tertiary institutions emphasize social commerce and improve mobile commerce skills to enhance students' preparedness for the e-economyen_US
