dc.description.abstractOn the day of 05th November 2024, Nitin A. Gokhale who served in many ways as an expert and a consultant on Indian National Security was invited to deliver a speech on ‘Understanding National Security Reforms in India’. The guest talk was organized by the Centre for Strategic Assessment, faculty of Defence and Strategic Studies of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University at the HQ Auditorium of the faculty from 09:30 am to 11:00 am. The audience consisted of many senior civil and military academics from the university and senior officials from the Ministry of Defence, Sri Lanka. Gokhale’s main objective was to let the audience know how India’s security reforms were being implemented in recent times and how it excavates the challenges. A remarkable discussion was communicated before the audience members of the university, in reflection of the erudite of Mr. Gokhale, which is presented here.en_US
