dc.description.abstractThe growth in AI systems has an unprecedented rate of development that is already in the process of redefining legal education. This paper tries to explore the role of AI for the future of the legal education is also explored with pros and cons. Machine learning algorithms, natural language processing and predictive analysis enables the legal profession to encourage social reform, comparative analysis of legal cases and administration. These advancements call for development of new legal curricula that will enable lawyers to have understanding of AI as to enable them to effectively practice using these tools. Further, with the introduction of AI-based customized learning systems, they claim to enrich the students’ learning by catering to their specific requirements and preferences. However, the incorporation of AI also poses essential dilemmas over the solution’s ethics, data protection, and prejudices. Therefore, this paper posits striking a proper balancing in utilizing of AI in the legal education sector as this region requires improvements in the context of legal education through the incorporation of inter-disciplinary approaches, instrumentality of law and technology, and Legal Ethics. By way of a careful consideration of available sources on this area, the need for legal education providers to adopt to an active role in adopting AI in their education to equip future lawyers for the AI revolution is underlined while stressing the need for the delivery of effective solutions using newly introduced technologies, while striking balance between its negative impacts.en_US
