The objective of this paper is to explore reasons behind lack of entrepreneurial&#13;
education in Sri Lankan Army community shops and providing recommendations to&#13;
promote entrepreneurial education for community shops run by SL Army. When&#13;
analyzing the available literature and secondary sources related to the&#13;
entrepreneurial education in the Sri Lanka Army, several reasons can be identified&#13;
for the reasons behind the less popularity and involvement of entrepreneurial&#13;
education in Sri Lanka Army. They can be grouped into as factors of self-efficiency,&#13;
risk taking, demand forecasting, training and networking highly impact to the&#13;
entrepreneurial education for Sri Lanka Army. These factors can be proved by&#13;
respondent through semi structured interviews. Currently, it is visible that Sri Lanka&#13;
Army has an issue of entrepreneurial education among commissioned and noncommissioned&#13;
officers, and it will be affected to create knowledge gap regarding&#13;
entrepreneurial education. Finally, that issue impact to business performance of&#13;
Army community shops. Officer who has less entrepreneurial education, lead t to&#13;
poor performance of Army community shops. This research aims to find relevant&#13;
solutions and alternatives approaches to minimize the above research gap. Hence,&#13;
this research focus to identify how entrepreneurial education, (contribute) to Sri&#13;
Lanka Army community shops which in turn would result in high effectiveness of&#13;
entrepreneurial education and help with overall performance of Army community&#13;
shops.
